In 2018, Citizen marked its centenary in Japanese watchmaking, leaving its mark in over 130 countries thanks to its pioneering technology, Eco-Drive. This revolutionary innovation enables its watches to operate continuously, drawing their energy directly from the sun or artificial light.
In 2019, we launched Citizen on Instagram, marking a key milestone in its digital transformation.
During my five years as an artistic director, I sculpted the brand's visual identity. From integrating watches into model photos at the beginning of our collaboration to elaborate photo shoots, each piece of content aimed to inspire our audience and strengthen the bond between Citizen and its followers. Each shoot was carefully planned to produce two months' worth of content, following validation of a mood board and mocked-up visual intentions. I was responsible for styling, staging, and directing both the photographer and models, ensuring that each image faithfully reflected the aesthetics and essence of Citizen's universe. Meticulous preparation of sets, thoughtful selection of accessories, and seamless coordination of production teams were essential to ensuring the success of these photo sessions.
